Georgia Mancroft

Integrative Psychotherapist

I appreciate that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming. Finding ourselves at a junction in life where we might need help and support is not usually something we hope or plan for. I aim to create a non-judgemental, safe, and curious space for my clients to uncover new meaning and understanding about themselves, and their relationships with others and the world around them. I am always blown away by my clients’ courage and hard work.

I approach therapy from an integrative perspective, rooted in relational psychodynamic theories. I try to help my clients to make sense of their distress in the context of their life experiences and relationships, tailoring their sessions to meet their individual needs and therapeutic aims.

I work with adolescents, young people, and adults with a wide range of presentations including depression, anxiety, OCD, self harm, eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID), and trauma. I am trained in humanistic, psychodynamic and CBT modalities. I have also completed additional training in Group Facilitation, Trauma informed practice, and CBT-E for eating disorders. I have a keen awareness of psychotherapeutic theory which I balance with my knowledge of evidence-based treatment.
